In this festive season and upcoming new year, OnePlus is gearing up to introduce OnePlus 12 to Global markets. But before that OnePlus has teased their Ace 3 model that is scheduled to be launched in China on 4th January, 2024. The same phone will be rebranded as OnePlus 12R for Global markets and will be launched along with OnePlus 12 on 23rd January 23rd in Global markets. We have gained some inside reports and leaks. Performance:

The OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the flagship chip of the last year. GPU used is Adreno 740 which is known for its graphical prowess. Along with this the phone will come with 8 GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128 GB (UFS 3.1) & 256 GB (UFS 4.0) storage, ensuring fast and smooth experience.


Display:

The display of OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) is going to be 6.78-inch curved OLED display. It will come with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Panel used is BOE X1 8T with LTPO 4.0 technology.


Camera:

The OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) packs a triple camera setup in the back, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX890 as primary sensor which comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP Ultrawide lens, and a 2MP Macro sensor. The front camera will be of 16MP.


Battery and Charging:

The OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) will be equipped with a 5500mAh battery. And this already huge battery will be complemented by a 100w Super Vooc charging.


Software:

The OnePlus 12R (Ace 3) will come with OxygenOS 14 globally and ColorOS 14 in China, based on Android 14, out of the box. Based of OnePlus' last year's promise, it is safe to say that the device will get 4 years of software update and 5 years of security update until unless OnePlus states otherwise at launch.


Color Options:

As per latest leak from reliable leaker Max Jambor, The device will arrive in two colors, namely Iron Gray and Cool Blue.


Additional Features:

Completing the package are features like the in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual stereo speakers, NFC, the X-axis linear motor for haptics. And the most iconic feature the Alert Slider will complete the package.
